I realize that the Scholastics Contest is a major one and so is NCTE and the Concord Review. Are there any other prestigious writing contests?

I know that the Nelligan Prize ($2,000) http://coloradoreview.colostate.edu/nelligan-prize and William Van Dyke Short Story Prize ($1500) http://www.ruminatemagazine.com/submit/contests/fiction are good contests to enter for creative students.
But from my experience, when the award is so big, you have to compete with many other participants . So if you enter smaller contests, such as Unplag Plagiarism Busters Contest (150$) https://unplag.com/blog/unplag-plagiarism-busters-contest your chances to win increase.
