<p>it means you dont have to take the writing placement exam, or take remedial writing courses.</p>
<p>but im pretty sure (for most colleges) you still have to take their writing course(es). Each colleges writing courses are closely tied to their “emphasis”</p>

<p>No college will exempt you from their writing, just the writing placement exam.</p>
<p>i was accepted into sixth.</p>
<p>Sixth has a writing program called CAT. You still have to take it regardless of what you got on APs/ACTs/SATs.</p>
