My reasoning for C is that I think the idiom is produced IN a process
But my reasoning for D is that "produced by a process similar to THAT OF sour cream.</p>

<p>Is is D! Your reasoning is 100% correct. The sentence is comparing the process of fraiche and sour cream, rather than the process of fraiche and the process of sour cream. It should be the latter.</p>
