Writing Question

This liberal arts college (has) decide (requiring) all students (to study) (at least one) non-European language. (No error)

Okay. So, idiom questions get me like, every time. The answer is B but I put C…

Can anyone explain what’s wrong with B? Does “requiring” have to be “to require.”

How can I improve my chances of getting idiomatic expression questions correct?

Thanks in advance!

Yes, “requiring” needs to be changed to “to require.”

This isn’t an idiomatic error, it’s basic grammar rules. Do some review, and read Silverturtle’s grammar guide.

What kind of error is it exactly so I can look it up? :/

Ahh, and it’s supposed to be decided* in the original question.

Nvm found it…

Thank you, SirWanksalot!
