Writing Sample for JSD at Columbia

Hey,

Your suggestion on the following question is strongly appreciated.

I am now applying for the JSD program at Columbia, and come across the requirement that I have to submit the writing sample.

The instruction reads as follow:
7. Writing Sample
You must submit a writing sample originally written in English (translations of works originally written in another language do not qualify). Writing samples will not be returned.

I am now uncertain about the length of the writing sample that is normally submitted. I am thinking about revising my previous essay done during my LLM, and it is about 10 pages. Do you think this would be okay?

Thanks in advance :)

Mmmm, probably not. Do you really think that submitting something you wrote for another program at another school is indicative of your interest in Columbia.
