Writing Section No Error Questions

Hey guys,

I am having a lot of trouble picking out 'NO ERROR's from the writing section (It always seems like something has to be wrong even if the sentence sounds right..)

Do you guys have any special tips in picking out no errors?

Also, how many no errors are there usually in a standard writing section?

thanks! :)

I just try to be more aggressive in ruling out the answer choices that have literally no error. Take everything literally in SAT Grammar Section and be more confident. Don't rely on your inner ear too... sometimes that makes you to choose the answer choice that "sounds weird" albeit grammatically sound.

First, go through A, B, C, and D. Make sure they have no errors first. Then pick "no error". Try not to pick an answer because it sounds wrong. Use the grammar rules. The SAT teacher at the prep class I went to said that usually about 1/5 of the questions are "no errors".
