<p>i have to write a personal statement for my common app, but i want to do it differently then all the categories mentioned there,. my statement is about the things that motivated my to choose my career and why do i want to choose that career path. its roughtly 1020 words, and im afraid its tooo long!!!. any good suggestions??</p>
<p>1000+ words is pretty long. Can you have someone read it and find parts that can be cut out?</p>
<p>hm, thats what i was concerned about. i will show it to my eng. teacher,. but before that, i think i will cut some stuff out myself. how about the theme of the statement though? is it acceptable?</p>
