So,
as a graduating senior and the class historian, i’m expected to write and read a “class history” at school. So what exactly is that?
Good question, I’m not too sure either. From what teachers have told me, it’s to be a poem-like ditty on the various aspects of my class.
Well, I can’t seem to think of too many things, so does anyone here at CC have any suggestions for writing a class history? some common trends or ideas that should be mentioned?
Thanks

Hmmm can you look back at past yearbooks to get ideas?

What kind of school do you go to? Have you known everyone your whole life, or is it bigger?

Can you see past examples? That might help.

^Took the words right out of my mouth. :)

perhaps your school has undergone renovations (of all kinds). You can relate you senior class history to the shaping of your school. (ex: my school went from principal who committed suicide–>good principal, new school district boundaries (changing minority ratio from 5% to 40% minority), new construction, great to terrible then to decent sports teams, etc). Other things you could mention-exciting/special events (senior fun day), difficulties (organization-wise). For example, some of the events that have shaped my senior class: a recent senior prank that got 15 people in huge trouble (could be charged with a felony), and our prom location being at a cafeteria (renovated) instead of the fancy museum cuz they kicked us out to hold a book fair at the last minute. Just other random things like that.
