Writing to Admission Representatives

I was deferred from BC, which is my top choice. I want to write an email to the admissions representative to express my interest in the school and explain why I want to go to BC. Can you give me any advice in writing to the admissions representative?

If you have received any new honors/achievements since you submitted your application, you can submit them to the admissions office along with a note expressing your continued interest.

Even if you don't have any new honors, write them saying that will you're disappointed with the deferral, you want to let them know that it's still your first choice and if they need anything else from you, to let you know. (Not one long nasty sentence like this though)
