Wrong answers on SAT

My teacher told our class that the SAT have just changed. They will no longer take points off for wrong answers. But when I look it up on the internet, it seem to me the change is occurring in 2016 and the SAT website’s FAQ, it still say the same thing about wrong answers like what they used to do. So, I guess my teacher has misunderstood something, but I just want to make sure if the SAT is still the same this year.

Thanks.

The SAT is not changing until 2016.

I think it’s as of May 2016, they change it.

If you sign up for that one, it’ll be different.

Sure your teacher wasn’t talking about AP exams? In 2013 they stopped deducting points for wrong answers on them.

OK. Thanks.
I am already a senior this year and the one in January should be the last one I will ever take, so clearly this is not my business.

She isn’t teaching AP classes, so I guess she must have not realized that the change is not happened until 2016.
