Wrong draft on TASP essay...

so, I submitted my TASP application online, and I noticed afterwards that the document I copied and pasted was the wrong draft of my essay(#6-ranking the programs), the reason I’m mainly worried is because my top choice I didn’t elaborate enough on- and only focused on the northern renaissance and didn’t even mention the southern renaissance… how bad is this? Is it worth calling them, sounding like an idiot, and fixing it… or not doing anything?

i did the same, only with a different essay. i wouldn’t worry about it. my rankings were all pretty short and i didn’t elaborate on the renaissance at all, even though cornell ii is my first choice.

I basically said I liked it cause of new ideas ie: not the renaissance? I didn’t take Ap Euro but I’m somewhat confident new ideas weren’t in the renaissance. painting~ :(

hmm i dont think the ranking essay is weighted as much as all the others…my whole essay was only about 1 1/4 pgs long

Mine was a page single spaced, my books were 1 page single spaced, essays 1-3 two single spaced pages, and essay 4 was 1 page single spaced. I put that seminar as my first choice, so I feel i’ll look like an idiot if they read that and be like “new ideas?”

Haha. You know what’s really funny?

For the rankings, I just made a list.

1 – Cornell II – yadda yadda yadda yadda

…

Man am I not getting in.

Southern? Northern? Dude, too intense for me.

I didn’t comment on the renaissance at all, actually, even though it’s my top choice. I explained that I love history, specifically the century BEFORE the renaissance, and that most of my favorite artists worked in that time period. I tried to make it clear that I wanted to learn about the renaissance because I had a good background for it, and I am interested.

Taggart - mine wasn’t any better, I really did the same thing too. I just put like Cornell II #2 - blah blah wrong idea for renaissance. forgetting to mention art, wow i’m dumb.

Iriseyes - at least you mentioned art. :(

All they care about is that you HAVE a preference…I’ve heard that they don’t always honor that. I’d be pretty chill at any but WashU and the Race, Space one. I specifically wrote that I didn’t want to attend either of them. I hate race discussions and I’m not a fan of SL, so I thought it would be best to tell them that off the bat.
