<p>one of my letter writers, by mistake, used the letter he/she wrote for a particular prestigeous school (that I applied for EA) for all my other schools, most of them West Coast. It’s a generic letter otherwise, but it emphasizes this particular school at the end. Is this something worth worrying about? Would the other schools be put off by this and assume I’m not really interested in their school? I found out about it because the writer gave me a copy of the letter after it was sent to the other schools.</p>
<p>I think this sort of stuff happens all the time, especially at big schools. Wouldn’t worry about it too much, since it’s not your fault, but the person’s who wrote the letter.</p>
<p>Thanks. I was wondering that it might make a difference — given how competitive it is. A single glitch might be enough to put an application into the reject pile.</p>
