WTH Columbia? East Coast Crazy?

I’ll take the Midwest’s sense and sensibility any day…

That’s a strange report, but nothing to do with the East Coast or even NYC, just one whacko person. Whackos are everywhere.

Agreed, katheip. Didn’t Northwestern students witness a live sex act in class a couple of years ago? In comparison, the Columbia incident seems kind of tame.

It seems like a very self indulgent performance piece, instead of an academic science class. Infuriating waste of time and money.

Such a performance would be considered too conventional and an example of “establishment fogies trying to front being cool” to many students at Oberlin when I attended.

Incidentally, one major complaint I kept hearing from many Obie classmates who went to Columbia for grad school…“Too conservative and stiff”.

Bwah ha ha ha!

I looked at the title of this thread and I thought I had committed some heinous CC crime!

eastcoascrazy, you’re one of the few sane ones!
