And, Congrats ChemyStree!

Yay! me too! are you guys going?? and to the people rejected, it definitely is for people with no experience in engineering/ computer science… for myself, I love math and was planning on majoring in math, but I have no clue about engineering and I said that on my application.

accepted
Still in shock!!

Accepted=) to EECS and congrats to everyone accepted. I actually chose both/doesn’t matter. Pretty happy about it and my parents are encouraging me to go=).

@dancingmac - I agree. I know nothing about engineering or computer science even though my school is a technical school, and yea, I said that on my application too.

I’m definitely going!

Yeah, I have no experience in computer science or engineering whatsoever, but I love math and science.

Yup, I’m definitely going too! EECS. I put no preference on my app. b/c I figured I could try anything. I don’t have any experience either.

I’m going to eecs too! I put no preference as well…

I’m going to eecs, too! Yay!

Hey, I was wondering have any of you that are definitely going bought your tickets (assuming you’re getting there by plane) yet? I’m guessing all of us are minors (2-17), so do our parents have to buy our tickets for us or can we buy them ourselves?
Also, where are you guys coming from?

I haven’t bought my ticket yet… but I plan to do so within the next week. By asking who buys them, do you mean who pays? Or just who fills out the forms? I’m almost positive you need a signature, but beyond that you can do it yourself. And I’m coming from California, what about you?

Michigan! (via Minneapolis)
If you have a way to pay for your tickets, I’d guess you could probably buy them yourself.

By who’s buying I meant if our parents have to call the airline and purchase the tickets or can we call instead. I know about the forms needed and can handle everything else myself, but unfortunately my parents are out of the country and I won’t be able to buy the tickets these few weeks=(.
I guess I’ll just take a bus instead since it’s cheaper and I can get the tickets myself. And I’m from NYC, which is only like 4 hours from Boston by bus.

so who’s going?

We’ve barely posted on here since the decisions came out -_-

I’m starting to get really excited, and it’s exactly 2 months away!

^
lol i’m excited too! but ap’s and sat are in the way ><

i wonder if there’s anyone going to ME on CC
