Any CCers from Wyoming. D’s friend is interviewing for a job near Lander Wyoming. Any info on the area?
Not from Wyoming, but not too far.
Lander is windy. Not too far from the Wind River canyon. (The wind theme carries through, as you see.) Small town, but bigger than most anything around. More restaurants than you’d expect for a town that size. Good location for someone interested in the out-of-doors, fly fishing, and so on.
Thanks for the tip about the wind. My D is considering moving with him and her horse doesn’t like wind.they are outdoor people and don’t mind rural.
We are south of Wyoming but have only visited a few times. We are some wind in CO. I’m under the impression that most of WY is often windy. I don’t know Lander, but looking at the location it appears it would be pretty remote. Make sure she knows what she is getting into. It’s lots different than “don’t mind rural” in most other states.
