X-Men: missed the last part!!!! (slight spoiler warning)

I went out to watch X-Men when it came out a few weeks ago and left right after it ended. It wasn’t until later that I found out that after the credits there is a scene when the guy in coma (from the video about ethics Xavier was showing earlier) wakes up and says the doctor, “Mari,” and then the doctor says, “Charles?” AAAAAAAHHHHHHHHH!!! Now, I’m debating if I should go back just to see this scene. I hate it when there’s one scene after the credits, actually not really, but in this case I am.

that’s all that happened. it’s nothing special…but it does allude to maybe another movie.

Yes!!! I love X-Men movies.

That’s why you always sit through the credits.

There’s definitely going to be a 4th part. Let us face it, X men already made $200 million in 2 weeks and will probably break the $400 million mark once all is said and done. There are many hints, other than the return of Charles.

They’ve already announced there won’t be a 4th. The 3rd will be the last in the series.

are you sure bulldog?

http://www.themovieblog.com/archives/2006/01/fox_confirms_xmen_4.html

Am I sure that I heard an announcement that the third was going to be the last one? Yes.

Does this mean there won’t be a fourth one? I guess not.

well, i meant, are you sure that there won’t be a fourth one? obviously, as shown through the link, Fox confirmed that there would be another movie, but that info is from months ago. so, how recently did you hear your announcement?

There isn’t gonna be a 4th X-Men movie, mainly because most everybody interesting is dead or de-mutated (temporarily, at least…I hope…more blue paint of Rebecca Romijn please!). Having a movie with Storm and Wolverine holding up the fort doesnt seem very interesting.

However! I have heard there’s likely going to be a Wolverine movie, and possibly a Magneto movie.

The juggernaut says the “I’m the juggernaut *****”

Thats all that ever needs to be known

Feenotype, I do not want to mention the names of the departed, because that would be a spoiler for those who haven’t yet seen the movie. But Charles and Megneto are back. As such, it would seem that the “cure” has only temporary effects and mutants with Xavier’s powers can mysteriously return! hint!!! hehe

The guy who plays Juggernaut is contracted through X-4 and X-5. I’ll bet there’ll be a fourth movie.

Ooops, I did not mean to spoil it for anybody. I just saw the spoiler warning and thought everything was fair game. I’m sorry to anyone who was spoiled.

I would be so shocked if there was not some form of a sequel. Not only because of the ending scene with Magneto, but also the scene after the credits. Both of these scenes, together, scream SEQUEL!

Why didn’t professor X transport his mind into a different body sooner? Ya know, like right after he lost the use of his legs?

SPOILERS

Why didn’t Wolverine just stick a few anti-mutant-power needles into Jean instead of killing her? Why was the Juggernaut affected by Leech? He isn’t a mutant (just a human who gained power via the Cyttorak Gem).

wait, juggernaut isn’t a mutant?

i remember reading a p. stewart quote saying that the first three xmen movies form a contiguous trilogy and stand on their own as a story-saga, but that this doesn’t preclude future story-sagas.

To Drew, I think if he did transport his mind into another’s body when he lost the use of his legs, it would go against the whole theme of the movie: there’s nothing wrong with being different, different ability rather than disability.

I don’t see how it would have been much different from what he ended up doing. They were both for personal gain.
