Xavier EA decisions are out. US Mail notification came first (yesterday, in our case), followed by email today, followed by a portal update.

Son got his acceptance today. His portal got updated first, then he got an email. No mail yet but we are OOS so will probably arrive in a couple days.
He got a presidential scholarship for $25k.

Son received acceptance as well along with a $18k/year Leadership Award. Great personalized acceptance packet, very impressive!

Acceptance package received in the mail - I have to second FLLMom’s comments, it was personalized and very impressive (best of the three he has received so far).

DS received his formal letter in the mail today and have to agree - best personalized acceptance package to date. Well done XU.
To clarify - by ‘well done’, I mean the #XU2025 on the acceptance packet contents was a miss.
We received the apology email from the school before the quote from his application essay was received in the mail with the “XU2025”. Oops.

Any thoughts on Xavier sending a “happy holidays” email vs. “Merry Christmas”? The other Catholic schools we have acceptances from mentioned Christmas in their emails.

Maybe because they have many that don’t celebrate Christmas on their mailing list. I don’t know why it really matters.
They have sent some of both. Some Xavier Christmas wishes in case these didn’t reach you. Merry Christmas! (My daughter is a freshman there)
