:(
I have a 3.3 unweighted GPA, along with a 1930 SAT score, 3 C’s on my junior year transcript and I go to a public school where everyone is brilliant. I know that I’m average and I’m really upset with myself for doing so poorly. With that said, is there any possible way that I could get into a school like Boston University, University of Florida or the University of North Carolina? Thanks guys.

hahhh that’s exactly how i feel these days.
BUT there are always grad schools!!! and those are the ones that actually MATTER for your jobs, your life, etc etc.
BU’s easy to get into. but UNC chapel hill isn’t coming from out of state. Do like ED for BU then you will get in.

Write fantastic essays. Prove to them you deserve to be there, and if you still get rejected, maybe that’s how things should be.

You shouldn’t always compare yourself with others to the point you’re stressing out this much - do the best you can and at the end of the day, that’s the most you can do.

1930 SAT score is above average, you’ll definitely get into schools (if it was 1100/2400 then I’d be a little worried). Apply to as many colleges as you can to be safe (Alabama, some small Florida colleges, and only UNC if you live in North Carolina since it’s ultra competitive out of state). But yeah your essays set you apart, numbers don’t matter entirely.

the best way to go is to be yourself. Maybe talk about the reason for those C’s. And yea, work hard in college and attend an incredible graduate school
