<p>Lol I saw that…they quoted one of his posts and it sounded pretty typical. Apparently they think “senior member” is some kind of mod-given title? :smiley: Anyways congratulations are in order: most people wait years to be quoted on Yahoo’s front page.</p>

<p>These articles have all been misleading. One in particular, the Washington Post article, quotes the “prompt,” but includes the whole blurb above the question, and makes it seem like thats part of the question itself. That little quotation (that was in the grey box on the test) does mention TV, but the question itself just says “entertainment.” Anyone who’s read a novel, read a play, seen a play, seen a movie, seen a tv show, listened to music, etc. has plenty of ammo for this question.</p>

<p>I think the fact that the CB is trying to use pop culture explicitly in the prompt is a little inappropriate, and, admittedly, if you watch a lot of reality TV you would have a lot of examples to use, but that’s only one avenue you could take. You could talk about any books, plays, songs, etc. in your essay and be totally fine. I didn’t mention TV once, and I’m not at all worried (in fact, in light of this controversy, it’s probably a good thing because they might feel pressured to score it easier :)).</p>

<p>When I first saw the article, I didn’t realize it was actually published in the paper. You guys make it seem like such an honor, haha.</p>

<p>I’m pretty amused by how a lot of articles are taking my words out of context and at all the comments that essentially say, “Why is she cryinggg? Stop complaining, ugh” They probably think I’m still crying about it
