<p>I’m actually 2015, though, as I’m deferring matriculation for a year.
Good news for waitlistees, as I think that opens up a spot for one of you guys! Maybe?</p>
<p>I’m not going to Yale. That should open up a spot, right? I’m also turning down Harvard, Columbia, Penn, Dartmouth, and maybe MIT as well.</p>

<p>^ I don’t think I will, either. Unfortunately, my school’s Academic Decathlon team leaves for Nebraska around 7 AM April 21. Unless Yale sends me a travel grant, I don’t think my parents would pay for my fare anyway, haha. 
It’s probably better that I go to next year’s, anyway, considering it’ll be based on the class I’m actually joining.</p>

<p>Well, I’m not completely, 100% set on going to Yale, but there’s a very good chance I’ll be with all of you guys in New Haven this fall. :)</p>

<p>The thing about MIT is that I can cross-register for classes at Harvard and am closer to the Harvard circle, which might give me a better chance at Harvard Med? I have no idea. I know MIT published statistics on where their graduates go, but I can’t find one for Yale…</p>
<p>Why don’t you ask about that at their respective preview weekends? I’m pretty sure none of us know indepth about med school admissions, but the advisers at Yale/MIT definitely well.</p>
<p>Yale was the best school I got into, but I also really like the culture here. Also, things like the Yale S&E field has a 1:1 prof to graduating engineer ratio makes it very appealing.</p>
<p>Yea, I’m planning on visiting, both… SOOO EXCITED! I just wanted to start thinking about the choice before visiting because after Bulldog Days, I only have like a week to decide.</p>
