I read somewhere the last date for interviewers to submit data is 30th Nov. Is it the same for internationals too? I got my ELI a/c a few days ago, but haven’t been contacted for an interview yet and I’m starting to get worriedd.

Keep cool. It’s OK. Some international interviews run into early December.

I’ll try to Eiswein!

But if I’m back in three days cribbing about the same thing, don’t be surprised. :)

I am on the same boat as perfectpixie - received Eli account a few days ago, but no call for interview.
Besides, Yale has not yet processed my Yale Supplement Essays. I tried e-mailing them many times, but they are not responding.
I have a feeling that I am not receiving any happy news, come December 15th.

Any idea how many internationals are accepted under SCEA? Any idea how many internationals apply for SCEA?

I feel like the days are passing by pretty quickly for me. They need to go faster though.

@ fabregas: “Besides, Yale has not yet processed my Yale Supplement Essays. I tried e-mailing them many times, but they are not responding.”

How do you know they haven’t processed your supp essay?

^They display what materials they have recieved in your ELI a/c.

@Eiswein - Like perfectpixie said, it shows so on the Eli account:

Yale Common Application Supplement essay X Not Received

^ guess it was the Common App’s problem? perhaps you should check with them too?

I applied on paper…

oh…, has any international student recieved notice from an interviewer yet?

I’ve received contact from my interviewer, but I haven’t gotten my ELI account? Is that normal?

Edit: Nvm, found it in a different folder, hah.

@Eiswein: I’m international, and I’m done with my interview.

JustADSenior- Which country are you from? And when did you submit your application?

Fabregas- I think the best option for you would be to contact Yale directly.

I live in the UAE, but I’m Indian lol
Submitted 22nd October, it was downloaded on 23rd, and my interviewer contacted me on the 6th of Nov.

Hello fellow Indian! I’m Indian and I live in India. ![]()
UAE sounds really cool, I want to visit the place one day. The culture is fascinating and weather is great(for me since I’m a hot weather person).

So, took around 2.5 weeks for you huh? I submitted on the 1st Nov at 22:00 hrs. It’s two weeks now! Interviewer, interviewer, where art thou?

How was your interview JustASenior? If you don’t mind me asking, what questions were asked that you found different from the norm/difficult to answer?

Oh woah you’re Indian too
Heey ! Waves Where dyou live in India ? ![]()
Yeah UAE’s fun
Love it here
I prefer the weather in India though - a lot more rain, at least where I come from.

Yep ! Around 2 and a half weeks. :)

I thought my interview was pretty good actually ! crosses fingers Thing is, my interviewer didn’t really ask me much about my classes/extracurriculars/anything related at ALL! It was mostly just an informal conversation, and there weren’t any questions at all that caught me off-guard. It started off with the usuals - Why Yale (or rather, what attracted me to Yale), what my school’s like, what I think of Dubai… And then we just talked about Yale really.
Yeah, I know, that’s pretty confusing ! I didn’t know what to make of it once I was done because it was SO different from my expectations of it. My interviewer was really nice though. :)

Anyone from Canada got an interview yet…? crickets

@ JustASenior: wow, sounds like a nice interview…if you don’t mind me asking, how long was your interview?
