Yale Admit Letter Spelled Jeff's Name Wrong

I was rereading my SCEA admit letter online. It finishes with “Best wishes, Jeffery Brenzel”… I believe his name is Jeffrey. Somebody tell me I’m not crazy.

I cant believe you noticed that

^ me neither, but you are right, (assuming they spelled it the way you posted it) Kinda sacary…

Oh, you got THAT letter. It’s code for “conditional admit” Yale thinks: Watch out for this poser.

The good kids got the letter that’s signed “Jeffrey Brenzel”.

Too bad for you. I guess life is over for you.

LOL

@ op. Slightly off topic, but how many times did you read your admit letter to find that? :)

You guys are mean : (

lol, relax, and welcome to Yale (even the deity makes mistakes;) Congrats on your admittance, no it doesn’t mean you were pranked(I don’t think…) me? I printed my letter out and scrutinized it a couple times to make sure there was no secret “actually this is false, you were actually rejected…” but also so I could reread the congratulations, you’ve been accepted part again… :)

@ Idiosyncra3y:

i read it more than once, that’s for sure : )

I noticed this too.
Mine was a deferral letter, though.

@ op I just didn’t close the tab for the first 24 hours, barely reading it just seeing that it was an acceptance letter.
