Yale and study time

Does Yale give enough time in the day to get study done because I like to study in the quiet usually by myself and I think you have to share a dorm with someone so going to the library is preferable. Also you don’t have to share a room with someone do you because that would not be very pleasant.

There is plenty of time to study. It’s the extracurricular activities that eat into your study time and not the class hours. You likely will need to share a room at least some of your years. If that is a problem for you then perhaps you should look at schools that do not require underclassmen to live on campus so that you can choose the living arrangement of your choice.

Most viable candidates will be chosen because of what they can add to the Yale community. Your finding living with another person to be “unpleasant” would probably point you to a school that is less concerned with assembling a community of scholars than Yale.

Since you prefer to live alone, you’ll probably be found unpleasant by your future roomies, too. Ever thought of that?

Are you really a sophmore in high school?
Worrying about stufy time and conditions of study space, as well as whether dorms are old and unsanitary now isn’t a good use of your time.

There are plenty of great places to study–and your schedule will change from semester to semester…College is very different from high school.
