You are probably right my nerves are getting the better of me , NUS probably aren’t being mean… :). Okay so I am already 13 hours into Monday on my side of the world, which I guess makes Tuesday half a day away (Yay!!), only 5pm EST for me is actually midnight haha. I will spend my day working to keep my mind of things, cool thing about my job is I will be underground - and I mean deep - maybe I will leave my anxieties on the surface…:). Any one else on my sucky side of the meridian ?

Accepted/Deferred/Rejected - my response will be the same whichever it is: whiskey, a cigar and Bob Dylan’s greatest hits. The volume of whiskey may change dependent on the result, admittedly. Good luck all!

Well with the 100 dollars from me you might be able to hitchhike your way to Wisconsin. I might even drive you if I’m feeling generous that day.

@alafae As i said, I will match whatever you give, so there’s 400$ on the table. Go Eljui/Tahsa! @ProximaCentauri Yeah, I remember that. Did he get his Eli account, BTW?

@TweedWearingBrit I think instead of whiskey, a cigar, and Bob Marley im going to stick to brownies brownies maybe cake and of course Ed Sheeran! I think, for me, those would be appropriate for any of Yale’s decisions

@Tahsa7 Nope. I’ll only match whatever @alafae is giving you for one of your multiple personalities. Actually you know what, I’ll double whatever you get from anyone else on this forum.

*Bob Dylan, although I’m certainly partial to a bit of Bob Marley. If I was going to listen to Marley I’d probably have some brownies too, just not the type you’re thinking of… I do love a bit of Ed Sheeran though, I can’t lie…

I am befuddled as to what happened to my account. It’s the same account only all my posts have been deleted. I am writing a message on the Community Issues sub-forum to understand what is going on.

@razaza I understand! My #1001 post yesterday became #1000 (for like 2 hours) and is now #977 I guess Yesterday I was so happy about having written the #1000 post

Is it odd that I’ve completely accepted that I’m not getting in? None of my friends have gotten into their tops, even some truly outstanding applicants (except for one mediocre candidate who got into Colby…???), so I’m sure I wont. For some reason I know I’ll still be upset on Tuesday when it becomes official… hmph. I’ve kind of almost already begun mourning the loss, although perhaps that’s because I’m stressed over the musical I’m in that goes up on Thursday. How is everyone else feeling?

The part of the world I live in, I’ll be up all night because the decision comes between midnight and sunrise. I just wanted to wish the very best of luck to you all. I am a firm believer in the philosophy that if something is meant to be, then it will happen. I’d be lying if I said I wouldn’t even be slightly angry or upset if I don’t get in come Thuraday, but I’ll look towards the future and try to figure out where I can improve in terms of my application. That said, the very best of luck to you all. I hope to see as many of you as possible get in, the talented bunch that you are. Best of luck with the Yale decision, and if that doesn’t work out, then life in general. Just remember that perhaps there are better things in store for you than Yale if things don’t work out the way you want them to. Cheers!

Man it’s reaching the point where it’s becoming surreal, and it’s not even Tuesday yet. Half of me is anxious to see what Yale has to say, but the other half doesn’t want this whole deal of anticipation and excitement to end.
