I myself have accepted deferral (rejection would still hurt, a lot) but whatever our results, please remember that this is but one step in our lives. Ultimately, we’re all mere 18/19-year olds, still full of promises. Whatever Yale decides, do not let it change our dreams and ambitions. </p>

<p>@flubadoo, if you don’t need FA, not sending the forms won’t be a bad thing, even if you put down that you expected to send them. Yale is need blind for admissions.</p>
<p>@flubadoo, When my son applied, we did not have all the FA paperwork submitted. We learned the FA package much later. Things worked out. The crew at Yale is amazing.</p>
