Hi all,
I am a student in a top Bachelor in Business Administration. I am interested in transferring to Wharton, Yale and Cornell. Do you know if I have a shot at Cornell and Yale’s economics programs considering that I come from a business oriented program ?
Thanks !

Top applicants attempting to transfer to Yale must share one essential: excellent academics and ability to contribute to the Yale community. What you’ve been studying before is not that relevant.

Yale economics is rather mathematical, requiring multivariable calculus and linear algebra, according to <a href=“Economics < Yale University”>http://catalog.yale.edu/ycps/subjects-of-instruction/economics/ . Depending on the class level you will transfer to, you might be “behind” if you have not taken such courses at your current school.
