Who wouldn’t have am-i-good-enough-to-get-into-yale doubts? It’s Yale.

I’m definitely having doubts. I feel so sub-par…I’ve never done biomedical research!

There’s always college to do research. That said, my field is group theory.

Oh, and I’m having my doubts as well.

everything about my app is sub par ! i’m not counting on getting into yale… :(

i’m definitely counting on getting deferred. Most people should be having their doubts. Hopefully most of us will get in.

I’m doing an original research paper on concepts of divine infinity in the Prajnaparamita and the Zohar (two religious texts). Would it be worthwhile to submit an abstract for that?

Of course I have my doubts! I’m not a super genius with a hundred awards. I’m not a president of 5,000 clubs either. Not to mention i’m an international student…To be honest, I think i’ll be lucky if I get deferred.

I’m having wake-up-screaming nightmares about getting rejected from Yale… I’m completely terrified.

Sighs I fell in love with Yale before I knew that I wasn’t supposed to.

On a different not, let’s add another question: Senioritis, anyone?

Ehhh, spelling error. . .“note,” not “not.”

no, right now my senior year is exactly like my second semester junior year…terrible. I have had some cases where I don’t feel like doing anything, but I don’t think the real senioritis will come till second semester.

I second what wrathofgod64 said. It’s the same with me.

I have pre-senioritis. I can still force myself to do homework, but I have to really try.

Eh, it’s too much work to spell senio…whatever. :)

senioritis…i had that like all of junior year…
its not as bad this year…but b/c i have 1st period free i tend 2 do a lot of slacking at night

i’m really nervous about not getting in…definately have HUGE doubts esp when people come and talk about their research abstracts…

can’t wait for second semester…and april

second semester’s gonna be the bomb. i’m looking forward to seeing what’s it’s like to walk into every test cold, and not caring about it. I wanna be able to get a B- on an assignment and say, hah, who the hell cares.

well we have to keep up first semester grades dont we? since schools DO look at the midyear report, esp those reg decision schools.

Oh, but second semester! Those sweet glorious months of nothingness! How I long for them!

…

They don’t see our second semester grades, right?

well they DO, but from what i hear its near impossible to get an acceptance rescinded. and if youre close to it, youre warned…

Fine, spoil my fun. :D

Sighs in longing Second semester…those have to be the most beautiful words in existence. I started school mid-August, so second semester for me starts on January 4th, or around there…if I can just hold on until December, I’ll be OKAAAY!

Better get back to my homework and extra-credit projects…
