yale EA ppl

Whats the point of doing online notifications at all if the mail is going to get there first?

does anyone honestly know if the accept letter is thin?! b/c I don’t wanna get my hopes up…

Well, there are international applicants–and also applicants from Hawaii and so forth–who won’t get their letters at the same time as everyone else, so they could use online notification.

Hey, kids. Geez, I had no idea that they sent stuff out to be recieved on the 15th. It’s getting intense…

what r u talking about?! its been 100% intense from the start. we r just alot closer now so we can feel it more.

online decisions are helpful for ppl who wont be home too. liek my friend is going away for winter vacation and she wont get get mail until she gets back. so online is her only way of knowing

Actually, i’m pretty confident that we’ll receive online notification before decisions through the mail

Yale does, however, send out their decisions on the 15th, but they won’t be waiting for us when we get home

Fellow cc’ers, i think jennyx06 is only trying to stress us even more than we already are

and i agree with you bobobobob, the aim slang…has gotta go :)

And now for a brief, totally unrelated message:

SNOW DAY!!! WOO HOO!!!

Thank you.

Dang Gorbachev, you live in a totally different geographic world! I wish Temecula had cool seasons and snow days. We had snow a year or two ago, for like 5 minutes, and it all melted before it hit the ground

Well, Yale has snow. I’ll wait to see it there :)

I want a snow day so bad. We get one MAYBE once every three years. But if we could get one next Friday my life would be happy.

What makes me mad is we get tons of snow every year. We have a couple inches right now. And it’s cold. But it has to be reaaaaaaaallly cold, or we have to have a ton of snow, for us to get off.

Whoa who just got that e-mail from Yale? It’s like “you will be able to get your decision the evening of the 16th” and “we are mailing the decisions out the 16th.”

I just got that e-mail too. Do you really think they’re not going to release the decisions until the 16th?

Well, yeah, that’s what it said.

i got that message just now

The last two years (at least) the decisions have been posted on-line around 4:00pm EST the evening before the official release date. The website will be slow, so be patient and keep trying your login after that time.

Bandit… do they send that same email every year too? (The one that says decisions will be released on the 16th)

Augh…I hope those decisions come out on the 15th. I’m really impatient. But I’m thoroughly enjoying my snow day! We used to NEVER have snow days, but we just got a new superintendent for our school district, and apparently he’s a little softer on the snow day policy than the old guy.

aah…stress! :frowning: GOOD LUCK FELLOW CC’ERS!! :)

I love snow days!!!

Me too!!!

I love snow days, but this one is really weak. It’s more of a rain day.
