not in nyc!! its not snowing anymore but theres actually quite a bit of snow accumulated. i hate when it rains after a nice snow and turns everything into sludge.

Wow different story in the burbs! I woke up with like an inch of snow on my residential street that rarely gets plowed, but now all of the snow on the pavement has already melted and you can even see the grass in some places.

SNOW DAY
SNOW DAY
I JUST SLEPT FOR LIKE 10 1/2 HOURS.

OH MAN.

goddamn i do not wanna get it on the 16th.

12th!
haha.

oh god, have you seen the 2010 forum above

yep I made the first post in it. which will be very embarassing when i’m rejected.

HOLY CRAP I am in Massachusetts and there is SO MUCH SNOW.

yeah i refuse to post in that place

"…Fellow cc’ers, i think jennyx06 is only trying to stress us even more than we already are

and i agree with you bobobobob, the aim slang…has gotta go…"

Is this person serious? Im refusing to beleive that he/she is even attempting to analyze my posts and show “Fellow cc’ers” what I am “only” trying to do. Nah…he/she wouldnt do that…Im pretty sure that would be quite rediculous…

and i apologize to anyone who does not AIM slang, but im quite sure AIM slang is used on MSN, ICQ, and a variety of other message boards all over the net. SO RLX IF U DONT GET IT NVMD BUT ILL BBL TO POST MORE SO PZ OUT TT U L8ERRR

Wow…so many people having snow days! I had one yesterday and today!

here it doesn’t even snow… ;)

whats yale’s ea deferral policy?

are they nice like princeton or do they only defer serious people like columbia?

I thought only serious people, they reject a lot of people as well. Starnge how Yale differs from harvard at this point, which deffers almost al students that dont get in. But I think its good, now if you get deferred you know you are a strong candidate and you still have about 10% chance of getting in!!(harvard accepts only around 5% of deffered people)

but I hope we all get in EA!!!

I really hope I’m deferred rather than rejected. My mother, of course, felt it necessary to tell every one of my great-aunt’s husband’s cousins’ children and their wives that I applied to Yale. It’s going to suck when they all call me.

I know how you feel! At my school i’m the only one applying to universities in the us, and therefore Yale, and since i’m valedictorian and always get good grades and stuff, everybody is expecting me to be accepted!! My entire class of 116 people!! Even though I told them all about how slim the chances are and about the amazing other people (like all of you) who apply, they still believe in me!!! (of course sometimes this feels good, but other times I’m so sure 'm going to disapoint and shock them all!)

but hey… Its getting late (here its evening already) I’m going out and not think about Yale for a few houres (al least thats the plan ;))

Hahahaha good luck.

It would have been so nice if I could have just applied everywhere on my own and not told anyone. Of course, I’m in email contact with all the teachers who are wrote me recs, and they just haaaave to be like, “WELL MAKE SURE YOU TELL ME THE INSTANT YOU RECEIVE YOUR DECISION!!!” Awwwwful!

flowertje, where in the Netherlands do you live? I’m visiting in the spring.

http://www.yale.edu/admit/news/ea.html

thats actually official. idk who my college advisor spoke to that said decisisons are mailed to be RECEIVED by dec 15. that was obv a lie. ugh whatever

good luck to all of you guys from columbia (2010 YAY)!!!

Yale took about 16% of deferreds last year.

compared to 7.5 RD

ugh.

it sucks either way.

haha.
