yale EA ppl

there’s no way Yale could hate ID, cuz ID is the truth. Hating ID would therefore go against it’s motto “lux et veritas”

That’s a good argument.

I’m not really an ID hater anyway. It’s just fun to wish that JB and I corresponded so informally.

id makes sense - that doesnt mean it should be taught in schools - there’s no proof.
how many apps did yale get thisyear?

This is what I found:
http://yaledailynews.com/article.asp?AID=30975

It claims 4,065 - and I’d trust the Daily News.

Hey Yale…if youre listening…fill up your entire class of 2010 with early action applicants because we are the ones that truly want to come to your sublime institution!

It’s true.

damn. yale saw a 55% increase in early submissions after they started EA…

GO BACK TO ED

yea, i mean, the only other ivy that’s ea is harvard. and u don’t wanna be like harvard right? that’s what i thought.

yeah im really mad yale switched to EA, i still would have applied ED and woulda had a better chance…

I freaked when I found out. Oh, what a day. Freshman year, too!

re:intelligent design
so, because it seems incrediably logical, it must be…so the earth is flat and what else?
we’re too complicated to be the result of evolution? Arrogant creature, what makes you think evolution isn’t more complicated and patient and statistically reasonable than you are?

I’m going with the panspermia theory. Evolution is too boring and intelligent design is too ridiculous. Aliens are better.

well what if evolution occurs because god allows it to - so a mixture of both ID and evolution…don’t forget that thr r still many missing parts from darwin’s puzzle.

I’m with elodie

well I must say, all your posts about id have kept my mind off yale for about 5 minutes! A very great accomplishment these days!! Thanks!

btw, here in the netherlands nobody believes in id, I think its something that is only believed in the US, or am I wrong?

What is ID anyway?
 (this is where you all start yelling at me for being stoopid:p)

See post 1311 for definition of ID.

re: mixing id and god and evolution
like saying someone’s a little bit pregnant
can’t do it
how about we settle with
evolution is how it happened and not why it happened

“See post 1311 for definition of ID.”
Oh no, I want a term paper on it at least. Or a research abstract (200-300 single-spaced pages Times New Roman 9). Nothing less will do:p

Guys… the wait is almost over. I can taste it.

I can feel it… so close…
