Hello! I don’t see a thread for applicants to Yale’s Eli Whitney program for fall 2024 so I thought I’d start one. Hopefully there’s a few more out there and we can commiserate during the wait!

We got our first update from the admissions office! Decisions will be released on May 21st. These next two months are going to feel like forever, though from what I’ve seen in threads from prior years if we’re not selected for an interview we’ll get a rejection in April. Which is good - put me out of my misery! 
Are yall planning on doing the optional StandOut interview that submits your responses automatically?

Saw on another site that AO interview invitation emails were sent out yesterday. Anyone else not receive one? I’ve read in a few different places that the AO interviews are rolling, so there may still be a chance to receive one in the coming days. I’ve also read that applicants have been accepted without an AO interview. Just clinging onto any hope that I’m not out of the race just yet lol

For the Eli Whitney program, you have to be invited for the virtual interview to make it to the next round. Not sure for regular transfer applicants if that’s what you mean

yeah, i believe you have to go through interviews to be accepted. no interview means no acceptance, although i hope without an interview we’re rejected sooner rather than later. constantly refreshing my email. waiting is tough!

I’ve read (past years threads) AO are not required in some cases and can still get accepted without it. Haven’t received anything yet either!
Maybe for regular transfer but definitely not for the Eli Whitney program. Are you a regular transfer applicant?

Hi Guys. Non-traditional transfer student here, I applied to EWSP for Fall 2024. I was invited to do a 1-1 interview w/AO last week. I have the interview scheduled first week of May. I am excited and oh so nervous!
