Yale Freshman Taking Questions

Hey all you new admits, and prospies.

I’m a freshman in Silliman College. I applied as a prospective PoliSci/Philosophy major, but haven’t taken classes in any of those areas yet. I’m really into public health. I play rugby, am in a fraternity, am on my college’s activity committe, and participate in YPU a little. I’m from the midwest…

fire away. what do you all want to know?

hah! I wanna do polisci and rugby! you’re my hero.

Have you met any cool professors that are really young and interested in student activities? I’ve always benefited from building relationships with these types of teachers in high school–the ones that can relate to you the most.

I’m pretty random and eclectic. I’ll wrap a leaf around my loins and run down the hallways singing Madonna. Will Yalies love me?

how are you pursuing public health studies at yale, in terms of course work, extra curricular’s etc?

How many sophomores named “Jeff” do you know? Two of them went to my school. :P

dude okay my question:
what kind of stats did you have to get it?
sorry if it’s too personal

I like how the thread died after my Jeff question. :(

primeminister

“what kind of stats did you have to get it?”

Dude, what’s up with you and the useless question. Do you think that by knowing his/her stats that it will boost your chances of admission. Sorry but that’s just immature.

Go and pursue something unique and stop trying to compare your SAT scores/grades to others. God, i just find that annoying.
