Quite exciting.

.

Haha, awesome.

…so let me get this straight; there has been no soap availabe in public restrooms at yale?..because it cost too much?

how about NOT admitting a student or maybe spending less on flowerbeds for getting some soap…is anyone else grossed out by this?

“how about NOT admitting a student”

lol. As reasonable as this is, imagine being the one student denied admission to Yale for the sake of soap :)

…but how would you know? Plus, it’s not even a matter of not admitting one student…it’s more like admitting one less student than anticipated every 5ish years…

Haha, okay, let’s just clarify here: all of the real public restrooms (like in the libraries, admin areas of residential colleges, etc.) have soap dispensers in them. The new program just applies to the dorm bathrooms… and while I suppose having dispensers will be nice, it’s not like we didn’t have soap before. My suite has spent ten bucks to buy two huge softsoap refils this year, and that’s all we’ve needed so far. And if we run out, there’s always the bar soap we leave in the bathroom with our shower stuff.

Really. Dispensers will be nice, but there really isn’t that much of a problem with the way things are now…

haha…cool; thanks for the clarification!

It would be extremely weird to go to a place as reputable as Yale and take an admissions tour and then have to use the restroom and simply remember that there weren’t soap dispensers!

I still think it’s a nice article! And the fact that Yallies have been fighting for soap as long as they have…

Imagine. All those wet, smelly bulldogs. And no soap.

The next battle is for 2-ply toilet paper to match Harvard.

… haha, we have 2-ply toilet paper already, thank you very much. but thanks byerly… it was a nice thought :p
