Cool story, bro.

Only accepted 9.9 % of The applicants?Need extra effort

Definitely my Dream school. God! This 9.9% makes me soo nervous! I just love residential colleges and the fact that yale is close both to Boston and NYC <3 but not in a huge city.

Its great but Stanford is my dream college.

9.9% would be lovely…

“For the Class of 2015, Yale accepted 2,006 students out of a record 27,283 total applications, hitting a University record-low acceptance of 7.35%”

But really, admission rates mean very little once you get below 10%… It is now just who advertises more = more apps = LOOK AT ME low admit rate…

From the College Board book 2012, it shows that 25,869 applied… 2,039 were admitted and 1,344 enrolled. 7.8%

Admission to yale is soooooooooooooooo harsh.and it is devastating to study day and night for years and be evaluated in few days.

The RD acceptance rate is even lower at 5.7% tied for the lowest with Columbia. The 7.35% is the overall rate.

Interesting, none of the posts actually respond to the question asked. Except one, and adjacency to certain cities is not what Yale would appreciate as to why you want go there. Being precise and substantial on this issue is probably one of the major factors for acceptance.

Probably because it sounds like someone looking for ideas for the essay.

Hahahaha, so true.

My son is graduating from Yale in may 2012… It was a perfect fit from day one. The university prides itself on diversity and acceptance of all cultures, ethnicities, gender and backgrounds. If you want that kind of environment… Yale is the school for you!
