Yale more popular than Harvard?

I’ve noticed that the Yale forum is a lot more active than the Harvard one.

Is Yale taking over Harvard’s position at the #1 most coveted school in the nation? Why are so many more people applying to Yale than Harvard?

Discuss.

Yale has Early Action; Harvard doesn’t. Come April, things will be more even.

Yale is more insecure so they have to talk more.

^^ lmao! (10 char)

Stanford’s better than both of them.

Because Y is a better letter than H

Of H and Y students who were accepted to both, H typically gets 65%, Y gets 35%.

I don’t know. Gilmore Girls? In my case it’s because H doesn’t accept transfers. I plan to be one of the 25 accepted into Yale in 2 years. jk.

gadad, I’m curious where you got your stats from. Last time I checked, H and Y yields were rather close, with H being higher.

^^The yeilds are close, but that’s not what he’s talking about. Gadad is referring to cross-admit data. In other words among students who are admitted to BOTH schools, 65% of them choose Harvard and 35% chose Yale.
