@linkinparkfan defferred from round 1?? well sometimes they defer well qualified applicants to compare them with the second round. so keep your hopes up!!
Hey, guys. Do you think Yale-NUS already selected admitted students? I feel like it is time for them to choose, since results come in the beginning of May.
I’d say they are either in committee or done. There’s a possibility that they could realease in a week even though the round length is different from the first. ^=^

Hmm…i received email saying that I can expect their decision by end of June. Or do we get it at an earlier date?
I just scored a 1400 on my SAT…and that’s after tiring hours of studying… the rest of my application is fine though… can’t even eat food properly due to nerves.
Hmm… when did you get the email? With the defference? The website says early May, but tbh, the dates are different from last year. No one knows, and the AO’s are pretty ambiguous from what went on last round. 
1400 is really good for the sat, you should be proud 
especially if you’re not a native English speaker. Holy crap I can’t even fathom how difficult that would be, and top international scorers deserve way more credit

@ethanwatson4 thanks man… maybe the decision notification for those in the waitlist might be by late June. I guess the round 2 applicants will get notified by May. Yeah, I guess that’s how it works.

@ethanwatson4 My man! It would be great to meet you if I ever get in. Has anyone got any idea whether the college bothers to take students from its waitlist? Since the college is relatively new, the statistics are not available.

Idk, I haven’t been shortlisted, so I’m pretty sure I wasn’t accepted I don’t think anyone would know, but it’s possible! I’m confused how youre on the waitlist, I thought you get deferred first

You guys might get lucky and receive them this week round 1 released March 23rd or something (maybe it was 28) instead of early april

@thehairbender I read on the past threads that it’s about 1/5 or 1/6th… But I haven’t seen official statistics anywhere so I don’t really know what to believe
