<p>Each school has its taste in selecting applicants. What sort do Yale look for? (For example, compassionate to the environment, eager to learn, etc?)</p>

<p>In theory, they want a true variety. I wouldn’t try to change my personality based on what Yale is looking for.</p>
<p>There definitely isn’t a certain type of personality. One of the things that surprised me when I came here was the amount of diversity in this regard. There are all sorts of people here… Yale definitely doesn’t have a particular type of student.</p>
