Yale Science and Engineering Assc. Award for science fair?

Hey. I have always been interested in Yale and I think the school is great for the programs in which I will be interested. Ever since US history has taught me Yale students were exempt from the Revolutionary war (there is no justification, just pure allure), this school had been one of my dream reaches.

Anyhow I won this award with this research project I have done with which I had entered a local science fair. It is INTEL science fair affiliated, unfortunately I didn’t make it into that (the other projects were simply amazing).

Nonetheless I checked out the website offered through the app for my award ([Yale Science & Engineering Association | Home](http://www.ysea.org)). I learned that this thing has been here for a couple decades and only 240 or so has been passed out in a year. Also this part says “The list of winners is forwarded to the Yale Admissions Office.”

So does anyone have had experience with this? Because I think if this will do me some good then I might do one of those binding early decision thing for Yale (I haven’t looked into this yet since I am applying after this August, but if you want to refute me please do so because more information the better!).

Idk on the full value but it can’t hurt. Congrats btw.
