<p>Hello,
I received an email a few days ago about a Science and Engineering Forum from Yale that will be held “near” me. I added quotations because the actual event is a two hour drive away, so I am wondering what people’s experiences have been like at one of these events to see if the forum is worth going to. The email was fairly vague in regards to what the event would actually cover in terms of Science and Engineering, but it did articulate that students who are interested in those areas would benefit most from the forum. Has anyone who is/was interested in the aforementioned fields gone to one of these forums in the past and found them to be informative (beyond the extent of a simple Google search) and/or interesting? Furthermore, are the forums centered around either admissions or things associated with the actual Science and Engineering programs at Yale (i.e. research opportunities, professors ect.)?
