<p>In short: Yale’s quarterback Patrick Witt pulled out of the final round of interviews for the prestigious Rhodes Scholarship and claimed it was because he didn’t want to miss his last game as a Yalie against rivals Harvard. He was actually disqualified from Rhodes, but the Yale Daily News (who Witt is a writer for) covered up this story, even they knew of it long before the story broke. </p>
<p>This sums how Yale admins have been dealing with sexual assault at Yale; rarely acting on reported cases of rape or assault. Though this may be the case in many elite institutions, Yale has been taking the most heat for various instances of misogyny and, for lack of better words, administrative disinterest on an issue so serious in nature.</p>
