Why is Yale’s student life considered by many to be superior to HARvard’s? IN what ways is it superior?

People say Yale life is unique in that there is a strong sense of community on campus, Yale students are said to be the happiest in the ivies, and there is a variety of extracurriculars, intramural sports, organizations etc. to keep you busy. Those are a few standout qualities I can name off the top of my head.
Buuut, I don’t think you can really say “Y is superior to H” because of so and so. It really all depends on what you are looking for. I don’t know enough about Harvard’s social scene to give you a complete comparison, and even if I could, you should not put too much stock into it. If the time comes when you have to decide between attending either Yale or Harvard, I think you’d be better off doing some research on their websites rather than asking on a forum: the answers people give you will most likely be biased.

It isn’t superior. Every school is different. You can easily learn about Yale’s res college system. That is the school’s defining feature for living.

Hot breakfast. Enough said.

So excited about residential colleges. So lovely…

Though one or two of them are really ugly.
