The last email we received said “around April 11th” and given that it’s Easter weekend, decisions probably won’t be out until Monday at the earliest.

Does anyone know what the odds are of being accepted if you’re an alternate? What’s the precedent from past years?
@happycactus I am definitely leaning towards it, but I also applied to SSP and am waiting for decisions on that before I commit. Hbu, are you planning on accepting? I would pm you but apparently I haven’t posted enough to PM and I’m not quite comfortable linking my insta on a public forum

@Sarah025 I’d be interested to know what you decide! I was planning to apply to SSP but decided against it because I had some unforeseen events that week that took up all of my time. I’m almost certainly going to accept the YSPA offer.
@Sarah025 and about the Insta, yeah, definitely don’t link it here if you aren’t comfortable doing so I’ve seen other people post instas before but you make a good point 
could anyone get admitted share part of your email contents…? It seems that I was been alternated but I’m not sure what are they meaning because they did not update my smarterselect page.
@arcturux I don’t have any stats from previous years, but the email I got said I had until April 22nd to accept the offer, so you’ll probably know around then? I wish you good luck! 
@JackTong I’m not 100% sure which part of the email you’d want to see, but this is the only part that mentions alternates, so I hope this helps?
“Please get back to me as soon as possible with your response to this admissions offer, since we have alternate participants we will admit if you decide to decline. I ask that you respond at least by Wednesday, April 22.”
