<p>Hi, out of pure curiosity, how much does having gone to YSP help one in terms of admissions?</p>

<p>I personally didn’t go, but I considered it, and I was advised to go instead of conducting research at MIT.</p>

<p>Did I make a mistake? I know that’s a hard question to answer but stil…</p>

<p>What have you heard about students getting in after going to YSP?</p>

<p>it doesn’t help at all. if you enjoyed yourself, then it was worth it. if you did it to impress adcoms, then yes, research at mit would probably have been ‘better’. but no use dwelling in the past…</p>
