interesting…

Wow, that’s interesting. I’m honored to be included in that article, at least I made it into the Yale daily news with my little rejection story. Maybe you Yalies can start a petition for me or write a new article “take Dr. Avrah” so the admission officers change their mind :)

You rock, doctor! :)

rofl, what a way to be scrutinized!

Ha! Big Brother’s watching.

And he’s a Bulldog. :)

i mean your name is harvard backwards, how could yale take you? maybe harvard might reconsider though…

I can’t believe they quoted us, haha!

HAHA, It is obvious that admission office watch CC like us !!! I wish I used to know that earlier :(

oh my goodness… dr. avrah… harvard… wow… haha I feel like a dork because I just got it thanks to orst =)

i’m jealous

Hehe, better watch what I say on here :D

I made to the news with my Persians quote. At least something cool came out of my Yale reject. GO CC!!!

This is why we need to spell correctly guys. xD You never know what Yale will quote next.

wow…HOw much does college admissions check the cc’s comments and thoughts?

I don’t think that was college admissions. Just a newspaper looking to write an article about the upcoming freshman class. Most google searches would bring you here any way.

But the Yale admissions officers do check CC. There was an article about it in the YDN last year.

Really? What for? because my initial screenname was gonna be Mike Oxbig (sound it out). It’s hardly the place to bring your A-game.

They likely check just to see what the common questions, concerns and perceptions about Yale are. That’s what drew me here initially as an alumni interviewer–I wanted to know what applicants were thinking so I could do a better job. The admissions officers tour the country giving presentations. This board gives them a real finger on the pulse of the applicant pool.

I can’t speak for AA (who would know best), but I can’t imagine any admissions department spending one minute of time trying to figure out who “undisclosed” or any other user really is, however!
