my son is a sophomore interested in playing basketball at a high academic school - he is primarily interested in D3 schools where being a student takes priority. he is planning to attend some basketball camps on the east coast this summer and trying to decide which to attend. the yale and columbia camps occur on the same weekend. both websites claim that over 60 high academic college coaches will be there. does anyone have any experience or recommendations regarding these camps?
would also appreciate any feedback regarding other camps that may be helpful. my son attended the hoop group academic elite camp last summer (was an all star selection) and the MIT basketball academy. we live very far away from both the east and west coasts, where most of the camps seem to be, so we have to really pick and choose which camps he can attend. thank you!
