<p>If you yourself are serious about what Stanford offers, then my question to you would be why you wouldn’t consider like schools (i.e. Yale) in your target range as well?</p>
<p>Why do YOU like Stanford? Probably the same reason your friend likes Yale. If you discover the two sets of criteria to be the same, then maybe you should consider applying to schools like Yale as well.</p>
