is a yale workload unbearable…all nighters almost every night or is there a healthy balance between studying and for a lack of better terms “fun?”

You shouldn’t really have to pull all nighters almost every night if you stay on top of your work everyday. This applies to every university. Yale strike a perfect balance between academics and social life or so it seems to me. Keep in mind of your definition of “fun”. Obviously you will have free time but there’s a good chance it’ll be consumed by extracurriculars or a job of some sort.

I pulled less than a handful of all-nighters (relating to schoolwork!) during my four years. If you are reasonably diligent about getting work done, there is no need.
