@manstressboutuni yay!! do you know anyone else who got in yet?
@geekysandwich & @alyssakim Thank you for the response.
Hi All, The deadline on RD for YYGS is this Wednesday.
@alyssakim I just send a follow request on IG
I just submitted my application, but I realized that we can’t even go in and see our responses/whether our teachers pulled through with their recommendations? I have a teacher who started their recommendation, but didn’t finish. Now, I won’t know whether they finished or not. If anyone else having the same problem as me?
Hey! I was just curious, would you say you’re upper/middle/lower class if you’re fine with sharing? I’m in the middleish class, but I applied for financial aid because the program is pretty expensive… was the financial aid based on need or was it merit based?
I SUBMITTED MY APPLICATION!
@yoonqs It’s need-based, YYGS doesn’t take merit into account when looking at applicants, it’s purely holistic.
so now we find out on march 15 right?
@ItsNami ohh ok thank you!
@cooldolphin05 Yup, the result will come out on March 15.
for the official transcript and recommendation letters, I got emails (each) from YYGS when they received them. I know I am still waiting for 1 letter of recommendation letter so I hope it went through last night.
Submitted mine and looked at this forum and didn’t know whether to laugh or cry because my application is terrible compared to you guys’.
Just so you get an idea, in that section where they ask you who you’d have dinner with I wrote about my best friend whom I haven’t seen in four years. Terrible essays too. I can’t wait for March 15th to come so that I can just move on haha
