Yale

can anyone from Yale or has ivy league knowledge about law school want to comment on how the classes are and how they work?

They’re all in olde Icelandic, so bone up.

^lol…seriously, i dont know why but…lol

Unless you attended an Ivy league school for your undergrad, the language used in law classes will be too difficult for you to understand (that’s a conditional statement! If you’re taking the LSAT, you should’ve immediately recognized that and diagrammed on the back of a napkin).

There’s a special section in the law library and bookstore with simplified liner notes for students from state schools and lesser universities. The professors, who invariably also come from Ivy backgrounds, will subject you to constant ridicule for your common upbringing. Be prepared to develop a thick skin.

Finally, many law schools offer a second-tier track for such students who will be hopelessly doomed to professions as contract attorneys and public defenders.

But remember, only the top 10% of state school grads will get those jobs. The rest will be flipping burgers while paying down $500,000 in loans.
