Yale's Four Seasons

I feel like an idiot for posting this, but I’ve seen many posts talking about how Yale has “4 seasons.” Does this just mean that all of its seasons are really distinct or something??(if it does, man will I really feel like an idiot) If somebody could straighten me out that would be great. lol Thank you so much, and I am sorry if somebody has already asked about this particular topic.

I think that the four seasons comment is only meaningful when comparing Yale to Stanford. Some people are not cut out for studying in 70 degree weather and would like to see it blizzard in January. Sometimes I think that I might be one of those people.

Four seasons is this:

During Spring, there are actually small leaves growing.

During the summer, most of the plants are actually green.

During the autumn, the leaves are actually falling and are brown/orange/yellow.

During the winter, it actually snows.

Some people like this, including me.

also, during the summer it can get ungodly hot.
but luckily not everyone does summer session.

I like to think of four seasons as just being able to tell (from the weather) that the months are changing. As opposed to waking up in Stanford everyday and saying, “Oh crap! It’s still May! Woo!”
